In the production of electrical harnesses, we use various types of connections, both crimped and swaged. We utilize mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic presses. The crimping technology is selected based on the specific requirements of the connector.
We have an ever-growing database of over 200 applicators for crimping various types of connectors. These applicators work in mechanical presses, which can be equipped with crimp force analyzers. If your project requires it, we will order a dedicated applicator to precisely and consistently crimp your harnesses with high quality.
The crimping process is carried out using hydraulic and pneumatic presses, which can be equipped with various dies tailored to the shape of the connector required by the client. Our presses also allow for the application of optimal pressing forces specific to each project.
The crimping processes are carried out on the following machines:
- WDT UP 35
- WDT FMP 20
- Phoenix ZAP-25-T
- Mecal P107
- Mecal TT 600
- SCHAEFER
- Komax 727 stripper crimper
- Mader pressen DA 850-40
- Mader pressen EP 500-40
- Prasa hydrauliczna GHO-22
- ZF SC 05
- ZF AM 04 DUOMATIC
- Tyco 5K/40
For large orders, the crimping process is carried out in a single cycle alongside wire cutting on the Crimp Center 36 and Crimp Center 64 machines.
Before starting serial production, we conduct validation of crimped and crimped connections. We define critical parameters such as pull-out force, crimp height, and metallographic cross-section appearance. Based on these criteria, we determine the SPC level and begin serial production, which is continuously monitored using built-in monitoring systems in the presses or according to the monitoring plan.
